How the Classroom Setup Works

1

Contact us for a bulk code

Email us at mathcards.app to request a school code for your classroom.

2

Enter the code on each device

Open Math Cards, tap the paywall, and enter the school code. Name the device (e.g. "Classroom iPad 3").

3

Students enter their names

Each student types their name at the start screen โ€” the name clears between sessions so the next student starts fresh.

4

Review the class report

Tap the Report button to see all sessions logged from that device โ€” student names, scores, and wrong answers by date.

What Students Practice

The Class Report

Tap the Report button on the home screen (visible only on devices with a school code). The report shows every session logged from that device, grouped by date:

SofiaSimplify Fractions15โ€”

Wrong answers are logged exactly as entered, so teachers can see exactly which facts students are missing โ€” not just a score.

Why It Works for Classrooms

Math Cards is built for independent practice โ€” not for teacher-led lessons. That makes it ideal for:

No teacher interaction is required during the session. Students manage themselves โ€” enter their name, choose their mode, practice, and the result is logged automatically.

Common Questions from Teachers

Does each student need their own account?

No. Math Cards uses a simple name entry at the start of each session. Students type their name, play, and the session is saved. No logins or accounts required.

How many devices can one school code unlock?

Bulk codes are designed for classroom or school-wide deployment. Contact us to discuss the right arrangement for your school size.

Can the app be used on a Chromebook or class computer?

Yes โ€” Math Cards works in any web browser, including Chrome on Chromebooks. Students navigate to mathcards.app and the app loads immediately.

What grades is Math Cards appropriate for?

The addition modes suit grades 1โ€“2. Times tables and basic division fit grades 3โ€“4. Fractions and long division are appropriate for grades 4โ€“6. The difficulty levels within each mode let the same app serve a range of ability levels in the same classroom.

Does a wrong answer end the game?

Yes โ€” one wrong answer ends the run and saves the score. This is intentional: it creates the same consequences as a real-world arithmetic error and builds the habit of thinking carefully before answering.
