How Multiplication Practice Works
A multiplication problem appears on a playing card โ a random factor paired with the table you chose. Type the answer using the on-screen number pad and tap Check. If you're right, the next card appears immediately. If you're wrong, the game ends and your score is recorded.
This single-mistake format creates real focus. Kids aren't grinding through a worksheet โ they're defending a streak.
Choose Any Times Table
Select the table you want to practice, or choose ALL to mix every table randomly. Math Cards supports:
Starting with a single table lets kids build confidence before mixing everything together.
Why Repetition Beats Worksheets
Math Cards is built around the principle that short, high-stakes repetition builds faster recall than long, low-pressure sessions. Each run is 60โ90 seconds. Kids can do three or four runs in the time it takes to hand out a worksheet.
The high score display keeps them coming back: "I got 8 in a row โ I want to try for 10."
Also Practice: Long Multiplication
When kids are ready to move beyond single-digit facts, Math Cards includes a Long Multiplication mode with a step-by-step scratch pad. See the long multiplication practice page for details.
